Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

FormulaEngineer provides a 7-day free trial with full feature access so you can evaluate the library before purchasing. We strongly encourage all prospective customers to use the trial period to verify that FormulaEngineer meets their technical and business requirements.

Once a license file (.lic) has been issued, the purchase is considered complete and non-refundable. The license is cryptographically bound to a specific machine fingerprint provided by the buyer at the time of purchase and cannot be revoked, transferred, or returned for credit.

Why no refunds?

Software licenses are digital deliverables that cannot be meaningfully "returned" once issued. Combined with the availability of a full-featured free trial that lets you verify the product before committing, a no-refund policy keeps our pricing fair to all customers without building the cost of refund-fraud into the sticker price.

Exceptional circumstances

If you believe your situation involves a billing error, duplicate charge, fraudulent activity, or a similar exceptional circumstance, please contact us within 14 days of the original transaction. We will investigate and respond in good faith, but exceptions outside these categories are not granted.

Chargebacks and disputes

Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer or bank without first contacting us is considered a breach of these terms. Doing so will result in immediate revocation of any issued license. We strongly prefer to resolve concerns directly via email before they escalate.

Terms of Service

Summary of current terms

• FormulaEngineer is licensed software, not sold. Each license grants the right to use the software on the specific machine the license is bound to.
• Licenses may not be transferred, resold, sublicensed, or shared between machines without prior written consent.
• Annual licenses entitle the licensee to one year of updates and email support from the date of purchase. They are not auto-renewing; continued use after one year requires purchasing a new license.
• Reverse engineering, decompilation, or attempts to circumvent the licensing system are prohibited and result in immediate license revocation.
• Warranty disclaimer. THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED BY MOHD NASRULLAH KAZMI "AS IS" AND ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT SHALL MOHD NASRULLAH KAZMI BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
• Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Machine fingerprints — a cryptographic hash of hardware identifiers (CPU, motherboard, system drive) used to bind licenses to specific machines. We never store the raw hardware values themselves.
• Trial and license usage telemetry — the date a trial was activated on a given machine fingerprint, and when a paid license is first activated or has expired. Used to enforce licensing terms.
• Customer contact details — the email address and full name you provide at checkout, retained only to fulfill license issuance and respond to your support emails.
• Payment information — we never receive or store payment card details. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, who maintain their own privacy policy and compliance obligations.
• Website analytics — we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate site traffic.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect or transmit the contents of the spreadsheets you process with FormulaEngineer.
• We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site trackers on our website.
• We do not sell, share, or rent customer information to third parties under any circumstances.
